To develop wholeness in fractured places. These poems became a prayer language, a curative dialogue with God full of revelation and release. These words are those I needed to hear, those I needed to say, those I have become, those I am becoming. These words became more than that. They became for you. 

My hope is that everything true in these pages would reach and heal you, too. My hope is that all women, no matter their circumstance, would see themselves in God’s image, be emboldened by God’s Spirit, and live from God’s limitless power. 

For the woman worn out on religion, still searching – for the woman tired of looking for her value in the approval of someone else’s face – for the woman sold so many lies she’s lost sight of the truth – my hope is that you would grab my hand, and together, we would take back what hell has stolen in God’s name.
